About Iri
A city feels smaller when you know your neighbors
Iri — עירי, “my city” in Hebrew — started with a simple thought: neighborhood apps are everywhere, but there was nothing like this in Israel. So we built one.

Our story
Why we built Iri
We’re Sveta and Semyon. Our journey started with a love for city life — the café owner who knows your order, the neighbor who waters your plants while you’re away. In Israel that life is spread across dozens of WhatsApp and Facebook groups, in several languages, where the important things get lost. Iri brings it into one calm feed for each city, in the language you speak.

What we believe
Local first
The people around you know your street better than any search engine.
Every language is welcome
Hebrew, Russian, English and more: a neighborhood is everyone who lives in it.
Calm by design
No endless scrolling, no outrage algorithm — posts from people nearby, newest first.
Built with the community
We read every message and build what neighbors ask for.
